Membership Registration Application

Membership Terms of Use

Article 1: Compliance with Basic Matters

When registering as a member, you are required to adhere to general internet manners, morals, and technical rules. By completing the registration, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

Article 2: Membership Application and Approval

  • Membership registration is application-based. Applicants must enter the required information to apply.
  • Membership registration is limited to corporations in Japan and overseas. Required information includes the company name, address, contact person's name and contact details, and email address.
  • The application will be reviewed by RIDAS Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the operator"), and membership will only be completed upon approval by the operator.
  • Once membership registration is complete, you can make tour reservations through KYOTO PEDALS.
  • If there are deficiencies or false statements in the application or if the operator determines it inappropriate for any other reason, membership approval may be denied.
  • The languages available for registration and service use are Japanese and English.

Article 3: Membership Qualifications

  • Membership does not have an expiration date.
  • Members can update their registered information (company name, address, email address, etc.) via the dedicated management screen. If the management screen is unavailable, please contact the operator by email.
  • If updates to registered information are required, members must promptly make the necessary corrections. The operator is not responsible for any disadvantages arising from the failure to update the information.

Article 4: Fees and Payment

  • For details regarding tour fees and payment methods, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
  • Payments are generally made through online transactions, and the currency used is Japanese yen.
  • All taxes related to this service are calculated based on Japanese tax laws.

Article 5: Handling of Registered Information

  • The operator will not disclose member registration information to third parties without the member's consent, except in the following cases:
    • If it is determined that the member may cause disadvantages to a third party
    • If disclosure is requested by a court or other public authority

Article 6: Prohibited Conduct

  • Infringement or potential infringement of the intellectual property rights such as copyrights, trademarks, and patents of others
  • Infringement or potential infringement of others' property, privacy, or portrait rights
  • Providing personal information of a specific individual
  • Holding multiple membership statuses as a single user or jointly holding a single membership status
  • Registering on behalf of someone whose membership has been suspended or invalidated
  • Discriminating against, defaming, or damaging the reputation or trust of others
  • Altering or deleting the content or information of this service or others
  • Impersonating others (including falsifying email headers)
  • Sending harmful computer programs
  • Overloading the server beyond normal use or promoting such actions
  • Violating laws or public order and morals
  • Other conduct deemed inappropriate by the operator

Article 7: Termination of Service

  • The operator may terminate the service even during the membership period.
  • If the service is terminated, the operator will notify the members in advance using appropriate methods.

Article 8: Restrictions on Eligibility

  • Organized crime groups
  • Members of organized crime groups
  • Associate members of organized crime groups
  • Companies affiliated with organized crime groups
  • Individuals involved in antisocial activities
  • Others deemed equivalent to the above

Article 9: Withdrawal

  • Members wishing to withdraw must contact the operator individually.
  • The withdrawal process will proceed as instructed by the operator, and membership will be terminated upon completion of the required procedures.
  • After withdrawal, the operator will manage the member's registration information appropriately. However, information may be retained in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Upon withdrawal, members lose the right to use the service. Obligations arising before withdrawal will not be waived.

Article 10: Suspension of Service

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance of the system
  • Service disruptions due to fire or power outages
  • Service disruptions caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes or tsunamis
  • War, civil unrest, or labor disputes
  • Other reasons deemed necessary by the operator

Article 11: Disclaimer

  • The operator assumes no responsibility for any damages arising from the use of this service.
  • Members are also responsible for any damages caused to third parties through the use of this service.

Article 12: Prohibition of Transfer of Rights and Obligations

Members may not transfer or pledge their position in the user contract or their rights and obligations under these terms to third parties without prior written consent from the operator.

Article 13: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
  • In the event of disputes, the court with jurisdiction over the operator's headquarters will have exclusive jurisdiction.
